Subash Buddoo

As Process Manager, Dr Subash Buddoo is responsible for managing NICM Health Research Institute’s GMP Manufacturing facility, collaborating with industry partners, and managing commercial contracts.  This includes project management of pharmaceutical product manufacturing and in-process quality control activities to ensure compliance with TGA regulations and guidelines.  He is also responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System including cGMP manufacturing and packaging documentation and relevant SOPs.  He will oversee equipment maintenance, warehousing and sampling activities, process and cleaning validation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Dr Buddoo has over 30 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical R&D, process development, formulation, QC and Quality Assurance in the Pharmaceutical and Veterinary industries. Throughout his career, Dr Buddoo has held various Technical and Quality roles with leading international pharmaceutical companies.  Prior to working in the pharmaceutical industry, he spent over 20 years in research and development and is the lead author of several peer-reviewed journal articles and international patents.
