Novel Mechanisms of Neuroplasticity in Alzheimer's Disease

The overarching aim of this PhD project is to characterise novel mechanisms for neuroplasticity for people with Alzheimer's disease (AD).  Specific objectives include mapping the currently known molecular and neurophysiological neuroplastic changes in AD; and quantifying the combined and separate effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimuli (rTMS) and cannabidiol (CBD) interventions on cognition, mood, and neuroplasticity in people with Alzheimer's disease AD.
