Dr Michael de Manincor was appointed Adjunct Fellow at NICM Health Research Institute in 2020. Prior to his appointment, Dr de Manincor was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow since 2017 focused in yoga-based interventions for depression, anxiety and wellbeing.

Bridging eastern and western modalities of mind-body health, he is one of the most highly respected yoga teachers in Australia, with over 30 years’ teaching experience. Sought out for his expertise in the field of yoga, meditation, positive psychology and mental health, de Manincor is asked regularly to speak at international conferences and with media. Dr de Manincor has been published in academic journals such as Depression and Anxiety, Pharmacopsychiatry, Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry, and BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
