CHC responds to launch of NICMToday’s announcement of the establishment of a National Institute for Complementary Medicine (NICM) recognises the increasing importance of complementary medicines in Australia and augers well for the health and wellbeing of the community. The Complementary Healthcare Council has long argued for an institute of this kind and believes it will ensure that research into the efficacy, safety and quality of complementary medicines is consolidated, resulting in improved outcomes for consumer choice and access.
