A key aim of the Institute is to equip complementary and mainstream health practitioners and researchers with knowledge about complementary medicine modalities and practice.

This will be achieved through the development of customised education programs and workshops and identification of key events that expand the knowledge base and skills of researchers and help build career pathways.  These activities will contribute to Australia's research capacity and foster excellence in the field and support NICM's objective of articulating and fulfilling national research priorities.
